About

Frank duPont is a filmmaker who has lived and produced and directed films in New York City since the mid-1980s. His work has focused for much of the last 30+ years on short form, documentary style portraits of extraordinary, often exemplary individuals. Congressional Medal of Honor recipients (over 125 videos), holocaust survivors, Olympic athletes, incarcerated individuals who have earned the right to a 2nd chance, cancer survivors, political and spiritual leaders, children from challenging circumstances who have beat the odds. In recent projects, he has explored bringing multiple voices together to build longer form narratives. As a lifelong student of American history, he is enthusiastically committed to using personal stories to craft an emotionally rich multi-voice portrait of America today.
