About

Elizabeth Beech is a director, designer, and animator who has worked on projects and installations that have been published in The New York Times, Dwell, and many more. After watching Lotte Reiniger’s 1922 movie Cinderella and falling in love with the medium of silhouette animation, she began making films in collaboration with co-director and composer Carla Patullo, starting with the IDA Shortlisted short documentary, Lotte that Silhouette Girl.

The Video Consortium is a global nonprofit media organization that supports the world’s nonfiction filmmakers and video journalists to tell bold stories that change the world.
