Moisés Anaya (1987), was part of Labour in a Single Shot 2014 and won the RetoDocs the same year. In 2015 he studied at NYFA. His work has been part of Plataforma MX, Flaherty Seminar, Kaalo 101, as well as CSFF, Clermont-Ferrand among others.

Moises Anaya (1987) was born in Tulancingo, a small city southeast of CDMX. He studies the Advertising Career and is self-taught in film through jobs as a director, editor, and cinematographer for various productions of VICE Media, National Geographic, Discovery Channel, Netflix, brands like con Johnnie Walker, Corona, Stella Artois, Coca Cola Family, among others. In 2014 he was part of the art project Labor in a Single Shot by Harun Farocki and Antje Ehmann. That same year his short film RAMOS won the jury award of the Docs MX Challenge and in 2015 he took the directing course at the New York Film Academy, having the New Yorker Director Jonathan Whittaker as a mentor. His short films as a director have been part of festivals such as; Dublin Doc Fest, Docs Mx, ICARO Festival of Central America, Short Films Screening China International New Media (CSFF), Zanate Festival, Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival, Hidalgo Film Festival, Mix Film Festival, among others. He recently collaborated with a production company in Nepal and was part of the Kaalo 101 artist residency in Kathmandu. His current documentary project about the bullfighter Lorenzo Garza Gaona was part of the Zanate residence and Plataforma MX in 2019 and the CAAP workshop in 2021. Recently he is working on his first feature film.
