Karen Dias is an independent photographer, interdisciplinary artist and multimedia producer from India based between New York City and Mumbai. Her work has been published in The Washington Post, Bloomberg News, BBC, The Guardian, Le Monde, National Geographic, Roads & Kingdoms, Conde Nast Traveler, and Al Jazeera among others. Karen's personal work focuses on stories about women rights, environmental and human rights issues and indigenous communities. She has been a grant recipient from the International Women's Media Foundation and has taught at Columbia University, NYU and International Center of Photography in New York City.
