Capital Emmy-winning editor committed to the art of documentary filmmaking
About
Elissa Padula is a video editor based just outside of Washington, D.C. In addition to editing, she has valuable experience in sound design and color correction, enhancing her post-production skillset. In the past, she has edited and created promotional trailers and marketing campaigns in collaboration with organizations like the Washington D.C. International Film Festival. Driven by a love for documentary filmmaking, Elissa was awarded a Capital Emmy in 2022 for her editing contributions on the student documentary, Dessana, which marked her first time working on a documentary and a non-English film. As she continues to evolve in her career, Elissa is excited about the opportunity to collaborate with fellow filmmakers and dive even deeper into documentary work.
