Cydney Tucker is an Emmy-award-winning journalist and documentary film director based in New York. She has written, produced, and directed films for renowned media organizations including The New York Times, ABC News, CBS News, NBC News, and Al Jazeera International. Her recent projects include four feature-length films for Hulu, two as part of The New York Times Presents documentary series, and two for ABC News Studios. Cydney’s work has been showcased at several festivals including but not limited to Doc NYC, SXSW, The New Orleans Film Festival, and Gotham. As a proud fellow of the Sundance Institute and the International Documentary Association, Cydney is committed to pushing the boundaries of documentary filmmaking. Her latest short film, House of Tulip, supported by both the Sundance Institute and IDA, is currently making waves at multiple film festivals across the country. With her unique blend of journalistic integrity and artistic vision, Cydney is dedicated to bringing impactful stories to life.
