Chelsea Casabona is a documentary filmmaker and journalist based in New York City.

About

Inspired by her childhood career in Judo and stories from her Cuban and Puerto Rican grandparents, Chelsea loves making films that highlight the voices of women, immigrants, and athletes. As a producer, videographer, and editor, Chelsea created two short videos about refugee women in Costa Rica. Chelsea is currently working on a short film for her master’s thesis at Columbia Graduate School of Journalism.
