Carole Blueweiss owns and operates Ookybox Productions. She is the creative force behind the podcast Wisdom Shared which she produces, edits, and hosts. Carole’s journey in media began in 1986 when she worked in the documentary departments for public television stations in Seattle and Albuquerque. Following a 20-year career as a physical therapist, Carole has circled back to her passion for documentary filmmaking. Currently, she is crafting a feature documentary that explores her family's past in rural Nazi Germany from 1933-1938. The catalyst for making this film revolves around randomly finding a historical fiction novel , written in German by a German former school teacher, translated later into English and seeing the names of her family as the characters, The story is Carole's journey to find answers to the micro history of what led to her family's forces expulsion.
