About

I’m a producer, multimedia journalist and storyteller who researches, reports, writes, produces, shoots and edits stories about politics, international affairs, women’s issues, immigration, social justice and religion. I’m currently an associate producer at Jigsaw Productions. My work has appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, USA Today, Roll Call, YES! Magazine, Belt Magazine and the Social Justice News Nexus, among others. I’m fluent in Arabic and hold a master's degree from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism and an undergraduate degree in English literature from the University of Iowa.
