About

AnaMichele is a media professional, moving between roles as a filmmaker, producer, curator, speaker, and educator. She was born and raised in South Florida, received her BA in Film & TV Production from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, and now lives in Portland, Oregon. AnaMichele is the Education and Engagement Coordinator at MetroEast Community Media, where she leads media and digital inclusion programs for underserved groups. She also writes articles, speaks at community events, and screens films for multiple festivals including NFFTY (National Film Festival for Talented Youth) and the Portland Film Festival. Her most recent film, The Forbidden Call, was a finalist of KCET’s Fine Cut Festival of Films and is now streaming on PBS.
