In the Press Play Hot Springs opening session, media makers of all kinds (journalists, filmmakers, creators, students, and more) come together to kick off this collaborative afternoon of solutions-focused conversations about making meaningful media for and in the South. 

4:00 - 4:45 PM Collaborative Breakout Sessions
What’s working in Southern storytelling? What’s not? Creatives break into topic-specific groups to answer fundamental questions that are driving the industry towards the future. Guided by co-facilitators. 

4:45 - 5:00 PM Pause for Sharing
Group facilitators share with all attendees what they discussed and developed, focusing on practical solutions.

Press Play Hot Springs is for and by the media makers in the south. Let's celebrate this place, forge new connections, and have solutions-focused conversations that push us farther, together.

Press Play will take place Monday October 13th, from 3:30pm to 6:45pm, but your reservation actually gives you access to the full forum, if you're interested in attending other sessions as well! 

It all takes place during the Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival in historic Hot Springs, Arkansas. 

The national Press Play tour is run by local-first global nonprofit Video Consortium (that's us!). Press Play Hot Springs is co-hosted by the Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival - with support from community partners.
