About

Born in Venezuela and raised on a Caribbean island off its coast, Claret Alcala Collins moved to the United States in 2013 to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Digital Filmmaking with a minor in Marketing at the University of Central Arkansas. In 2023, she proudly became a U.S. citizen, marking a meaningful milestone in her journey. After graduating, Claret worked as a full-time television producer for Arkansas PBS, where one of her projects earned national recognition at the 52nd Annual Public Media Awards. In 2021, she launched her photography business, initially focusing on consumer photography. While later serving as a communications manager for a nonprofit focused on workforce development, she discovered her passion for helping business owners elevate their brand’s digital presence. That experience inspired her to shift her work toward commercial photography and filmmaking. Today, Claret collaborates with small businesses, non-profits, state agencies and organizations to create intentional, story-driven visuals that blend creativity with strategy. She also offers all her services in Spanish to better serve the diverse needs of her clients.
