About

Rebecca is a video journalist on the social visuals team at The New York Times, meaning that she produces and edits videos that appear on platforms like Instagram, TikTok and X, as well as The Times’ website. Her videos present Times journalism in new, creative ways, with the goal of making the reporting accessible to new audiences, especially on social media, by interviewing fellow colleagues about their work and helping put forward the Times’ most compelling visual stories. Before joining The Times in 2023, she was a senior producer at Brut, a digital media start-up, where she produced and filmed breaking news and feature stories, from the experience of firefighters dealing with PTSD, to following Free Britney activists, or testing out the accessibility of the New York subway. She previously worked as a news producer in newsrooms in Paris, London and Washington D.C. with various French outlets such as France Télévisions, Bangumi and Agence France Presse. Rebecca was born and raised in France, and graduated from City University London.
