Madeleine Pryor

Madeleine Pryor is a video producer and communications specialist with 12 years of experience creating digital content and providing strategic communications expertise for non-profits, social enterprise incubators, and social-issue oriented companies. She is a trained and accomplished documentary filmmaker and photographer and directed, filmed, and produced a short documentary film, "Embedded," which was screened at the 2014 DOC NYC Film Festival in New York: http://www.docnyc.net/film/point-shoot/embedded. The film focuses on the personal life and work of a young war photographer who covers conflicts in Afghanistan and Syria for news outlets. She currently works as a communications and digital media specialist for a small, woman-owned business that provides monitoring and evaluation and communications and learning services for USAID projects in countries around the world. Previously, she worked as the media producer and strategist for Seeds of Peace, where she led their digital content strategy and -- as a one-woman show -- produced over 20 videos in three years while traveling around the Middle East and South Asia to document the nonprofit's conflict resolution dialogue programs. Madeleine is looking to expand her documentary portfolio and join a vibrant community of makers with whom she can collaborate and grow.
