Jonathan Banks is an award-winning photographer, copywriter, and filmmaker who loves the art of storytelling. He's been capturing and sharing storied images of the people and places within his various communities for the last decade. His work has been featured in international publications and he's exhibited consistently since 2016. Influenced by photographers like Gordon Parks, Dawoud Bey, and Jamel Shabazz, he aims to connect with his community on a very intimate level.

The Video Consortium is a global nonprofit media organization that supports the world’s nonfiction filmmakers and video journalists to tell bold stories that change the world.
