Iliana Garcia is an LA-based editor and filmmaker, specializing in documentaries and non-scripted media. Creating across short and long-form formats, Iliana’s work provides an intimate look into the world of identity, loss, and place. Iliana has worked on films that have screened at numerous festivals, including Slamdance, Tribeca Film Festival, SXSW, DOC NYC, CAAMFest, LA Asian Pacific Film Festival, and the New York Latino Film Festival. Her recent work includes PBS SoCal's Nobuko Miyamoto: A Song in Movement (2024), which premiered on PBS SoCal as part of its Emmy-nominated Artbound series, and educational content for UCLA's monumental Foundations and Futures Multimedia Textbook. Iliana is a graduate of the BA program in Media Studies at Pomona College and a 2022 Armed With A Camera Fellow. She is a member of Brown Girls Doc Mafia and the Alliance of Doc Editors.
