About

Grier has lived and worked in NYC for over fifteen years as an art director, animator, designer and director. He's written and directed multiple short films and animations that have screened at Slamdance, Marfa, SXSW, Sidewalk Film Festival, Fantastic Fest, and many more. Recently he collaborated with Godrey Reggio (dir. Koyaanisqatsi) as VFX Creative Director to bring his most recent film to life, spending over a year shooting miniatures, green screen, shadow puppets, all culminating in a fantastical "hand-colored" relic of the past.
