About

Graduated from the National School of Cinematographic Arts at UNAM, specializing in cinematography. She has worked as a cinematographer on several short films, most notably "Vera" (Dir. Juan Ordorica), which received a Special Jury Mention at the Morelia International Film Festival in 2020. She recently co-photographed "Memoria de un cuerpo desplazado" (Dir. Mariana Mendivil), a short film that won the Silver Puma at FICUNAM's "Aciertos" selection in 2024. As a director and screenwriter, her work "Las dos Claudias" stands out. This short film was screened at numerous festivals and won the Audience Award at CuĂłrum Morelia 2019 and the LGBT+ Mentorship Award at the Watersprite Film Festival 2020. She also served as Mezcal Jury at FICG 33 and as Young Canvas Jury at the Black Canvas Festival 2019. In 2020, she won the special short film script competition at the Morelia International Film Festival and received the SACPC Young Creators Grant (formerly FONCA) in 2023 in the film scriptwriting category for her fiction feature project *Es difĂ­cil hablar*. Currently, she is working as a screenwriter for LABC production company while continuing her career in the camera department on various audiovisual projects, including feature films, series, commercials, and music videos.
