With support from Sony, we're giving YOU the chance to win a Sony FX3 camera or a Sony Alpha 7 IV video camera in a celebratory contest that marks the launch of our new University Initiative! Applications closed on March 30, 2025.

⭐️ Sydney Gaw, Northwestern University (undergraduate student)

"I will use the Sony camera to shoot my thesis documentary this summer on Yiwu, the port city that hosts China’s largest wholesale market. The film will explore how global trade tensions (the current tariff war) and the presence of a large Muslim community are reshaping the region. I’m deeply grateful for this opportunity and will do my absolute best to honor it by creating a meaningful film."
