Mumbai is often defined by its film industry, but its storytelling culture runs far deeper, carried through diverse realities, personal histories, and the many ways people document their worlds.

The Mumbai Hub is dedicated to building an inclusive and evolving community of documentary filmmakers, visual journalists, and interdisciplinary storytellers. It aims to bring together both emerging and established practitioners, especially those navigating, questioning, or transitioning across forms of nonfiction storytelling.

Through screenings, conversations, and collaborative gatherings, VC Mumbai hopes to offer a space of exchange, reflection, and possibility. In a city defined by its pace and economic pressures, the hub seeks to create a sense of pause, where storytellers can connect, share work, and find new directions within a collective.
