Mérida, Venezuela
VCMérida was born out of the need to create a space for collective thinking that allows us to imagine new ways of approaching non-fiction.
At VCMDA, we propose a place for screenings, conversations, gatherings, and workshops where professionals and enthusiasts of non-fiction cinema can come together to share knowledge, reflect, create, find inspiration, and think about narrative, aesthetics, and ethics—both individually and collectively.
In Mérida, the ancestral coexists with the contemporary, and this blend turns the city into a fertile ground for creation, dialogue, and the expansion of artistic and cinematic possibilities.
A hub acts as a touchstone for the community, fostering a sense of belonging while enabling personal connection and professional development.
