About

Oliver Zambrano Vegas (Tovar, Mérida, Venezuela, 2000), film student and poet based on Mérida, Venezuela. Has written and directed several shortfilms between fiction and documentary, some of his works are: 'La ciudad intangible' -The untouchable city- (Documentary, 2021), 'En el silencio escuché tu nombre- In the silence I heard your name- (Fiction, 2022), 'Las tortugas no tienen casa' -Turtles doesn't have houses- (Documentary, 2023), 'Las mismas paredes' -The same walls- (Documentary, 2024). He was part of the anthological feature 'Historias de familia, amor y muerte' -Stories of family, love and death-, a school feature by the EMA-ULA with the support of CNAC, currently in post-production. This year he filmed his thesis short film, named 'Eyes like lights that go out' (in post-production). He also published the poetry collection 'Trasplantar la casa' (Transplanting the House) in 2024 with Ediciones Palindromus.
