VC Denver supports the Front Range’s growing community of documentary filmmakers, journalists, and visual storytellers through screenings, workshops, and events that connect creatives across the region—with each other and the global VC network.
Through gatherings hosted throughout the region, VC Denver brings people together to share work, exchange ideas, and build meaningful relationships. True to Colorado’s collaborative spirit, it’s a place where filmmakers of all backgrounds and experience levels can learn from one another and contribute to a strong, supportive creative community.
As Colorado’s nonfiction scene continues to grow—and with the Sundance Film Festival arriving in Boulder in 2027—VC Denver aims to help connect and strengthen the community at a meaningful moment.
