Priyanka is an independent photojournalist and documentary filmmaker and has been working in this field for the past 10 years. She is post graduate in Photography from Jamia Millia Islamia and has worked with Time of India as a photojournalist. She has been traveling to different parts of the world for projects and in search of stories which makes her understand different communities, caste and sectors. Also helped her to work in a stressed and conflicted environment and made her more connected to people of all sectors. As a student of Journalism and photography, journalism always helped her to find stories and Films/photography to curve them on prints. She believes being a female photographer/filmmaker is one of her biggest strengths as people from different communities always feel connected with her.

A cattle farmer named, Kerabai Sargar, from the village of Mhaswad in Maharashtra, India, has faced a devastating drought in her village three times. Climate change has increased the frequency of drought in the area. While many farmers have ceased operations, Kerabai has chosen to stay and fight. She mortgages her gold to help her family and cattle survive. She also becomes a famous radio jockey in her community by using her natural singing abilities to educate people about farming.
