About

Ace McColl is an Atlanta-based filmmaker and editor specializing in documentary storytelling. Her work has screened at numerous film festivals, including the Atlanta Film Festival, Indie Memphis, Future of Film is Female, and Sidewalk Film Festival. Her documentary editing has earned multiple Emmy nominations, and her most recent project for PBS won a 2023 Southeastern Emmy. Deeply invested in the growth of Atlanta’s film community, she serves on the Board of Directors for ATL Film Party and is a coordinator for VCATL. Ace holds a B.F.A. in Film & TV Production from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and is a member of the IATSE Local 700 Editors Guild. She is currently in post-production on a documentary shot on 16mm that explores the relationship between dance and Parkinson’s disease.
