About

After working as an actor/director in theatre and television in London (BBC, Central,) Véronique’s non-fiction career began at SBS in Australia as a reporter, producer, executive producer and Head of Production. In the US, she worked for WNET, Sundance Channel, New York Times Television, National Geographic Television and ABC News Productions. As an independent producer, her documentary films have been supported by IDFA, IDA, ITVS, Doc Society, Rogovy, Perspective, IFP/Gotham, Hot Docs, Docs Barcelona and DOC NYC. Awards include the Grantham Prize for Excellence in Environmental Journalism Award of Merit, Special Mention Prize at the International Festival of Film on Art, and the Organization of American Historians’ Erik Barnouw Award. Her credits include PBS documentary series E2: The Economies of Being Environmentally Conscious, and Art in the Twenty-First Century, French co-production The Man Who Invented Himself: Duane Michals (France TV,) feature documentaries Enter The Faun (America Reframed,) Seat 20D (FIFA,) Chasing Childhood and Beyond the Gaze: Jule Campbell’s Swimsuit Issue (both DOC NYC,) The People vs. Agent Orange (PBS/ARTE,) As Prescribed (Sheffield DocFest,) Welcome to Yiddishland (Sydney Film Festival,) and documentary short Game Changer (Tribeca/BET.)
