About

Stacey Sommer is a four-time Emmy and Peabody award-winning executive producer with over a decade of experience producing series, documentaries and multi-format projects. Recently at VICE, she led a team responsible for developing and producing TV shows and non-fiction projects under the VICE News umbrella. Stacey first joined VICE in 2016 to help launch VICE News Tonight on HBO, the network’s first ever nightly documentary news program. Previously, she was a supervising producer at MTV and MTV News, managing original series, franchises and branded content efforts. Her work has taken her across the U.S., to Europe, and Japan. In 2018, Stacey spoke at Harvard Business School’s annual Dynamic Women in Business conference on diversifying behind-the-scenes roles in the media and entertainment industry, a topic she’s passionate about.
