Ryan Scafuro is an American filmmaker and cinematographer currently living in London. His feature documentaries “Bending Steel” and “Phantom Cowboys” both premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and were released by DirectTV and Amazon Prime, respectively. His short films have been featured on Short of the Week and The Atlantic, and have garnered hundreds of thousands of views as Vimeo Staff Picks. As a DoP he has been head of department for a number of award winning comedy programs, including a combined 15 years at The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and Full Frontal with Samantha Bee. His diverse portfolio of TV, film, and commercial work spans all genres, with clients including FX, HBO, Netflix, Comedy Central, NY Times, Time Magazine, Google, Amazon, and many others.
