She has worked on creating a wide ​range of content in the US and abroad, from ​documentaries/doc-series to short-form non-fiction content ​for streaming networks, cable, digital, and creative agencies. ​Her work has covered a range of topics, including immigrant ​rights, LGBTQ issues, climate activism, food justice, AI, and ​refugee rights. Melissa holds a BA in International Studies from the University ​of Washington and has a passion for telling stories that ​amplify diverse voices and perspectives.
