About

Maeva Bambuck has been producing short docs and series in the news space for HBO, VICE and Showtime, earning two Emmy awards in the process. Between 2019 and 2023, she worked on the news show VICE News Tonight, initially on HBO and later on VICE TV. Between 2012 and 2018, she reported for The Associated Press, first based in Beirut, Lebanon, then covering Latin America and the Caribbean out of Mexico City. Her freelance work includes reporting from Haiti and Afghanistan for various outlets including CNN, AP, France 24, and Le Figaro. Born and raised in France, she lives in the United States and holds a US Green card. She is trilingual in French, English and Spanish.
