Lucia holds a BA in Biology but has built her career in science and environmental journalism, with a strong focus on storytelling and communication. Since 2022, she has led the video team at Mongabay Global, overseeing production while also creating videos for the outlet. Currently working as a managing editor, she has also taken on roles as a video producer, coordinator, scriptwriter, documentalist, and writer. Her work has been published by outlets such as Televisión Española, Prisa Radio, National Geographic, and the SINC agency. Additionally, she is a board member of the Spanish Science Journalism Association and the European Union of Science Journalism Associations.
