Laura Goldman is an award-winning video producer, editor, videographer, and director with over a decade of experience crafting powerful, visually compelling sports storytelling. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, she has dedicated her career to bringing the energy, emotion, and depth of the sports world to audiences nationwide. Currently serving as a Senior Sports Video Producer at AL.com/Alabama Media Group/Advance Media since 2015, Laura leads the charge in producing high-impact video features, documentaries, docuseries, and highlight reels, with a primary focus on Alabama and Auburn athletics. Her work has covered multiple SEC Championship and College Football Playoff runs, blending journalistic insight with cinematic production. She often operates as a one-woman production teamshooting, producing, and editingbut also leads crews, trains new hires, and collaborates with writers, columnists, and fellow producers to deliver wide-ranging coverage that resonates with passionate sports fans. Prior to joining AL.com, Laura worked as an Associate Producer at 120 Sports (now Stadium) in Chicago. There, she helped shape the voice and identity of the emerging sports network, pitching segment ideas, building rundowns, cutting game highlights, and managing a team of PAs and editors. She also contributed to high-profile projects like Saban's Way and Peach Jam during her tenure as a Freelance Video Producer at The Athletic. Laura's foundation in sports media began at ESPN headquarters in Bristol, where she worked from 2009 to 2013 across multiple departmentsfrom studio production to digital media. She built full-screen graphics, cut highlights for SportsCenter and Baseball Tonight, and produced digital features for ESPN.com. She also traveled with ESPN's College GameDay and covered major events like the X Games and the ESPYs, managing YouTube channels and creating fast-turnaround social video content for one of the most watched sports audiences in the world. A natural storyteller with a gift for connecting with people, Laura thrives on discovering narratives that bring sports to life. Whether shes behind the lens or in the editing suite, her goal remains the same: to deliver emotionally rich, visually striking stories that resonate far beyond the scoreboard. Her talents have been recognized with multiple accolades, including two Southeast Regional Emmy Awards (2020 & 2021) and national recognition in the APSE Awards A Division Video category (2018 & 2023).
