About

Jess fell in love with production/post-production 7 years ago after realizing that while she loved her professional dance career, it couldn't ultimately bring her to her greatest fulfillment. Since moving from being in front of the camera to behind it, Jess has found herself in an industry that ultimately speaks to her true life and humanitarian sensibilities. She worked worked for Vice News for several years as an assistant editor and digital video editor. In these roles, she found what she truly loved which is highlighting and elevating the voices of real people and stories that deserve to be told. She has other experience working as an editor, shooter, and producer for major YouTube show, Binging with Babish. This role allowed her to grow and expand as a story teller. Ultimately however, she always gets pulled back to news and docs.
