About
Audrey is a French-Peruvian freelance journalist, documentary filmmaker, producer, and photographer. Based in Lima, Peru— her work is focused on issues related to social justice, human rights, equal gender, migration, racism, and the environment. She has created PUEBLO FILMS, an independent house producer and she is currently working on producing her first long documentary, about gender violence in Peru: Y GRITARÉ TU NOMBRE. She is a contributor for Vice News, AlJazeera English, Bloomberg, and El PaĂs. She is a member of the Brown Girls Doc Mafia collective, and Asociacion de fotoperiodistas del Peru (AFPP).
In 2022, she collaborated as an investigative journalist and local producer for the long documentary “Children of Lead” from the Vert de Rage investigative series, directed by Martin Boudot from Premieres Lignes house producer and released on French public TV. She also has been part of the investigation and local producer for “Greenwashing: The Climate Killer”, a Cash Investigation episode, the main investigative TV public show from France Télévisions.
In the last 4 years, she has worked at Pacha Films, as a producer, and scriptwriter for Discovery+ and BBC. She has been a producer for two four-part series: ChapecĂł Dossier: The Game Behind Tragedy (released in 2022) and another one that will be released in 2023. She was the general producer of the En la lĂnea MĂ©xico short (2021, Emmy nominated) for Discovery. She has worked for the investigative independent outlet Ojo PĂşblico, Radio Programas del PerĂş, and Sociedad Peruana de Derecho Ambiental.
