Canada has long been a leader in documentary filmmaking, and that legacy continues today with a vibrant documentary scene across the country. With Toronto at the heart of Canada’s film industry and home to some of the world’s largest film festivals, it’s the perfect place to launch the country’s first VC Hub.

The Toronto Hub is all about bringing people together. Our goal is to build a dynamic community of non-fiction storytellers, host events for all types of creatives, and stay responsive to what members need as the hub grows. By creating space to build connections and collaborations, we hope to spark new ideas, partnerships, and opportunities across the field.
