VC Marrakech

VC Marrakech is a Morocco-based Local Hub of Video Consortium dedicated to nonfiction and documentary storytelling. Anchored in Marrakech with a national outlook, the hub brings together filmmakers, journalists, photographers, producers, and storytellers from across Morocco while remaining connected to Video Consortium’s global network

Designed as a community-first initiative, VC Marrakech prioritizes meaningful exchange, ethical storytelling, and long-term relationship building. The hub focuses on creating sustainable opportunities for connection, dialogue, and collaboration through screenings, discussions, networking events, and peer-to-peer learning.

Morocco is home to a dynamic and diverse community of nonfiction storytellers whose work contributes to important cultural, social, and creative conversations both locally and internationally. VC Marrakech builds on this momentum by creating a dedicated space where creators can share ideas, experiences, challenges, and perspectives across disciplines and regions.

While rooted in Marrakech, the hub is intended to serve creators and communities throughout Morocco and, over time, extend activities to other cities through partnerships, collaborations, and community-led initiatives.
