About

I hold a Masters in Visual Communication from Ohio University's Viscom (2012) and spent eight years overseas as a correspondent. That time led to my first feature, Free Burma Rangers, which enjoyed a brief national theatrical release in 2020 right before the lockdown. I run Outskirt Films, a documentary production company that provides coverage for both national outlets (NYT, WSJ, WashPo, PBS, etc) in addition to turnkey production of stories for brands and NGOs.

The Video Consortium is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that connects and supports today's nonfiction filmmakers and video journalists to tell bold stories that change the world. (EIN: 81-1686368)
