Since 2020, the African Visionary Fund has been unleashing breakthrough impact and tackling systemic inequities by driving resources to high-impact African founders. Its holistic intermediary fund model commits unrestricted, multiyear grant funding alongside co-designed support services tailored to its portfolio partners’ needs.

Meet Eric Mwangi

Eric is an East African cinematographer and director. He is an alumnus of the American Film Showcase documentary residency at the University of Southern California. He's worked on a broad range of short and feature-length documentaries, commercials for broadcast, and brand films with Zero Point Zero Productions [New York], Zeleman Productions [Ethiopia], YCF Productions [Zambia], Docubox, One Fine Day Films, F.C.I.A and LBX Africa [Kenya], et al. Eric's craft is devoted to bringing an African perspective to the global pool of transformative stories, and to contributing to the expansion of the African Cinema language.
