Tim Metzger is an Academy Award nominee and three-time Emmy-nominated director of photography with over 15 years of experience mostly in documentaries and branded content. He’s worked around the world with the likes of Morgan Freeman and Bill Nye, for outlets ranging from National Geographic, Discovery and HBO to PBS, CNN, and the BBC, and for commercial clients including Pixar, Intel, San Pellegrino, Puma, Warner Brothers, and TED. And sometimes, he also produces. Formerly a New Yorker, Tim’s now based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

The Video Consortium is a global nonprofit media organization that supports the world’s nonfiction filmmakers and video journalists to tell bold stories that change the world.
