About

Sydney worked for 7 years founding a boutique commercial production company in NYC. She produced for clients and agencies like Vogue, Wieden & Kennedy, Anomaly, Vice, the Tate Modern, and MTV and projects screened at festivals like Sundance, Cannes, and Berlinale. She then went back to school for an MFA in writing and directing from NYU and also started production designing. Her design work has screened at Sundance, TIFF, and San Sebastian. Her most recent directing work premiered at Kurzfiltage Winterthur.

The Video Consortium is a global nonprofit media organization that supports the world’s nonfiction filmmakers and video journalists to tell bold stories that change the world.
