Stuart Sox

Stuart Sox is a filmmaker from Mobile, AL currently living and working in New Orleans, LA. For his full-time "day job" as he likes to call it, he works as the Video Producer for Tulane University's Office of Undergraduate Admission. His passion, however, is documentary filmmaking. Stuart's first feature documentary "To Decadence with Love, Thanks for Everything!" premiered at the 2020 New Orleans Film Festival where it won the Jury Award for Best Louisiana Feature. It went on to screen at more than a dozen film festivals across North America in 2021 including New York City's Big Apple Film Festival, Birmingham's Sidewalk Film Festival, and San Fransisco's Frameline Film Festival, the largest queer film festival in the world. "To Decadence" is now available to stream on STARZ, Amazon Prime, AppleTV and more! Stuart is currently working on a second feature documentary, "I Love You, AllWays" and continues to pursue his passion of creating films that uplift and celebrate the LGBTQ+/queer community, women, BIPOC people, artists, and exploring the intersection off all of these beautiful expressions of identity.
