Stephanie Jenkins is a long-time producer with Ken Burns. She recently produced the 8-hour series about Muhammad Ali, which premiered in September 2021. Her previous work with Florentine Films includes The Central Park Five, Jackie Robinson and East Lake Meadows: A Public Housing Story.
In addition to her work at Florentine, she has contributed archival research to non-fiction media outlets including The New York Times, WNYC’s Radiolab and Spike Lee’s Forty Acres and a Mule Productions. She has consulted with a on archival workflow and research, and spoken on panels on the subject, at DOC NYC, ACSIL Expo, and Craft Ed. Seminars, among others. She was a 2018-2019 Impact Partners Producing Fellow.
She is currently producing multiple independent documentaries, as well as consulting about archival research on a wide variety of platforms.
