About
Sarah has been in the field of marketing and public relations for more than a decade, having most recently served as director of communications for the Grandfather Mountain Stewardship Foundation. Prior to that role, she spent over eight years with Explore Asheville. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in journalism and worked as a reporter early in her career. Sarah joined Carolina Public Press as audience director in March 2025. She grew up in Catawba County and currently resides in Hendersonville.
