About

A Texas native and New York transplant, I've been working in the newsrooms since I was an undergrad at Texas A&M, where I started as a photo editor. Since then, I've worked at The Texas Tribune in Austin and NPR in Washington, D.C. After graduating University of Texas at Austin with my masters in journalism, emphasis visual storytelling and editing, I completed an investigative fellowship where I told the story of hate crimes around the nation. Now, I'm a multimedia producer at Newsday, where I work on daily videos, as well as documentaries.

The Video Consortium is a global nonprofit media organization that supports the world’s nonfiction filmmakers and video journalists to tell bold stories that change the world.
