Shane McFarland

Born in New Castle, Pa. Shane was once a dedicated athlete who went on to play football at the University of Memphis in Tennessee. During this time Shane received a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing Management. Once his sports career was over he found an excitement in what was next for him. After going into many corporate interviews he realized that the office space world wasn't what he thought it might be. Shane returned to Pittsburgh and started an outside sales job where he annoyed people in malls, farmer's markets, gyms, etc. This gave him flexibility to go out and try new things. Shane interned for a start up creative agency which required him to work in all departments including as an entire creative team of one. After picking up a camera, learning Adobe Premiere Pro and earning an education from Youtube, Shane quickly gained traction as a freelancer. Working mostly in commercial and social media mediums he had success creating top of the funnel content for million dollar companies and professional athletes. Now, Shane is leaning into the film world as a producer and cinematographer.
