About

SHAN Wallace is a nomadic award-winning photographer, visual artist, filmmaker, and educator from Baltimore, MD. Most of her time is split between commission editorial work for major publications and art institutions, and personal documentary and fine art projects. SHAN has directed short films in collaboration with Public Record, The Annenberg Space for Photography, and Calvin Klein. Her current project is Glory Days, a documentary on the LGBTQ nightlife in Baltimore.

The Video Consortium is a global nonprofit media organization that supports the world’s nonfiction filmmakers and video journalists to tell bold stories that change the world.
