Sarah Sloan is a documentary producer working in her home region on the Carolina coast. Most recently she was lead producer of THE DECIDERS (Apple TV, Prime). Her work has been distributed by Apple TV, Hulu, Prime, Netflix, PBS and the Pulitzer Center. Sloan has been a Participant Media Social Impact Fellow, an International Women's Media Fund grantee and her work has been funded by Google News Initiative. Sloan’s work on Steve James’ America to Me docu-series received honorable mention in Fast Company’s World Changing Ideas. Sloan has been trained in resiliency, safety and trauma for working in documentary film by the Dart Center for Journalism and Trauma.
