I am a filmmaker, photographer and editor. For the past 10 years, I have been working with various TV and Film companies as a Camera operator and editor, including Aljazeera, BBC, Channel 4 news. I have gained immense knowledge & experience on multiple genres from news; documentaries, digital, music videos, and commercials. Having being born in Somalia, lived in Kenya and studied in the UK. I understand the socio-political & cultural context of the Horn of Africa.

The Video Consortium is a global nonprofit media organization that supports the world’s nonfiction filmmakers and video journalists to tell bold stories that change the world.
