About

Ronald Weaver II combines professionalism with creativity and passion. As a native of Santa Monica, California and an avid world traveler, Ronald grew up amongst a well rounded and diverse group and continued his personal growth while living on 5 different continents and visiting over 40 countries by 35 years of age. His camera related hobbies quickly blossomed into a career, which covered freelance and media positions in different industries. With a background in Sociology at UC Irvine, documentary filmmaking was always the ultimate goal, telling stories with an emphasis on social inequalities and the human experience around the globe.

The Video Consortium is a global nonprofit media organization that supports the world’s nonfiction filmmakers and video journalists to tell bold stories that change the world.
