About

Rachel Serada Barth is a filmmaker from the San Francisco Bay Area. After four years with CNN on a twice-Peabody winning team, she received two reporting fellowships with the International Center for Journalists, first in Berlin in 2010, and then in Moscow in 2013 ahead of the Winter Olympics. Since then, she has worked as a writer, producer, and director on films for clients like Apple, Google, and Coca Cola, often with a social impact bend. She has worked on a range of projects, from the Cannes Lion Titanium Grand Prix-winning Dove “Real Beauty” Campaign, to working as the Sacramento Locations Supervisor for the Oscar-nominated film Lady Bird. Her work as a creative producer has earned accolades like the Tribeca X Award for Best Series (2022) and Vimeo "Best of the Year" (2021), as well as festival play at TIFF, Palm Springs Shortfest, and more.
